Breakfast, A Smart Start
Creamy Wheat
This is my healthy version of 'cream of wheat' cereal
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
dash sea salt
1 T. dry milk powder
3/4 c. water
___________
1 tsp. butter
up to 1 T. sugar
In small saucepan: mix whole wheat flour, salt, and dry milk. Stir in water using a wire whip. Heat on high, stirring constantly. When thick, take off heat, immediately cover with lid. Let sit, covered for about 5 minutes (it will finish cooking with the lid on). Scrape all into a bowl, smooth out. Top with butter, and sugar; let sit for 1 minute to melt. Makes one serving.
